I am really thinking of having a go at this, mostly because I love a challenge and so many people do it and some have walked away with publishing contracts without any expectation whatsoever!

It's excellent practice. I attemped it last year, but unfortunately was called upon to do some things which kept me away from my computer. I'll have a re-think this time. Well an attempt is better than nothing at least; it may help me get past the starting post.

Excellent! Let me know how you get on? I have to psyche myself up for it. Are we allowed at least the synopsis done in preparation?

I've heard of Nanowrimo before. It's supposed to expose the really promising writers to the publishing industry, whether its true or not is anyones guess!
